AIR MAURITIUS LAUNCHES NEW FIRST CLASS PRODUCT ON AIRBUS A340 AIRCRAFT, WITH FLAT-BED SEATS AND ENHANCED IFE

Scheduled for deployment on the London and Hong Kong routes from 3 December 2006, Air Mauritius new flagship product is available on the two new-generation A340-300E : A flat-bed First class with cocoon seats, an entirely new intermediate cabin class with a variety of tailored features and a greatly enhanced Economy class cabin.

Passengers will have at their disposal AVOD - Audio & Video On Demand - menu offering of 50 digital-quality, multi-language video options together with a library of more than 60 CDs with play-list functionality.

Laid-out in a generous 80-inch pitch, the airline's choice of cocoon seats features state-of-the-art technology and individual comfort with fingertip control. With only two rows of seats, this new Air Mauritius First class will be the airline's most intimate premium cabin.
