Royal Brunei Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-200ER.
This will be the first of six Boeing 777-200ER aircraft that Royal Brunei Airlines will lease from Singapore Airlines. The
remaining aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between June and September 2010.
Royal Brunei Airlines Boeing 777-200ERs have 30 Business Class seats, these being the angled lie-flat seat format that do not offer a true flat-bed sleeping position.
These Business Class seats offer an angled, full length flat-bed which, and a plush duvet and larger pillow will be offered to Business class passengers.
In the Economy Class cabin there are 255 seats with a 33 inch seat pitch. All seats will be equipped with personal screens featuring the SkyShow system
that offers passengers a number of entertainment options throughout their flight including hit movies, classic Hollywood films and TV programmes for all ages and audio-on-demand. A selection of video games is also available.
Royal Brunei Airlines will be utilising the 777s to replace its current Boeing 767-300ER aircraft and will operate long haul flights from Bandar Seri Begawan to the United Kingdom, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
