Air Greenland owns only one A330-200 and it flies back and forth between Copenhagen and Kangerlujssuaq.
The first row of business class is row 4. There are two business class cabins, rows 4 through 8 make up
the forward cabin, and then rows 9 through 12 are behind the mid-galley and two lavs (one on each side).
The seats are six-across are comparable to 2nd generation business class seats - in other words, they're
dated. The seats have a modest 50-inches of seat pitch and are 20 inches in width, with a dull gray
fabric covering that needs to be updated. The fairly basic design isn't designed for sleeping so there's
not a lot of recline. Keep in mind that the flights used by this aircraft run between 4 and 5 hours and
don't operate "overnight" so sleeping may not be a major objective. Entertainment is basic. Small
monitors come out of the arm-rests and there are limited music channels and you watch the same movie
everyone else watches. Air Greenland is your only year-around option for flying into Greenland, so that
having a wide-body on the route is probably a plus to start with. For the short duration flights and
based on the discounted business fare I paid, I would say that the aircraft and the seats were
acceptable.
