These seats go into a nice flat bed, and with the partition up are also quite private. Nice mattress and duvet/pillow made for a good sleep both ways (Brussels-Beijing vv). Staff service truly fantastic, and I mean fantastic! Efficient and friendly and learned they are now 5 Stars airlines as well from Skytrax.

SEA-PEK on Hainan Airlines in early February. Business Class cabin has 36 seats divided between 2 cabins using 2x2x2 format. I managed to get 6 hours sleep on the flatbed seat which the crew kindly fitted with a mattress cover and duvet whilst I changed into the sleep suit. PTV monitor is mounted on the central console and has a 10-inch screen. The only negative is that it could be quite difficult to get in and out if sitting in the window seat, and the aisle seat is occupied. The product and service on this flight was excellent and the staff seem willing to go that extra mile to make sure passengers are comfortable.

I think it is one of the most comfortable international business class seating I have experienced in the market of Mainland China and US. It is 100% Flat Bed that you will be able to sleep, turn and do whatever you want to.

A true flat bed seat, arranged 2x2x2 across the cabin. Reasonable privacy and seat was noticed as comfortable in both sitting and the flat-bed position. An airline that many have not heard about, but Hainan Airlines was a superb experience and a long way ahead of other airlines in China.
