Seats are wide enough but not very comfortable. Use of leather means the seat does not breath and this can make you feel
sticky. Impossible to access or leave seat if one in front is reclined. Entertainment limited and provided on portable
device. Excellent value for money, It's an honest deal - may be worth paying extra for a true business/first class
experience or if sleep is important.

I advise if you are tall to select Row A or seat D2 as you have extra leg room. If you are looking for a good night sleep
you will be disappointed unless you are small in stature.

Jetstar's Business Class is more like the Premium Economy seat offered by other airlines. Limited seat recline and
nowhere near the service levels supplied by other carriers. The big difference is the price which is considerably less
than other carriers Business Class product. Remember, you get what you pay for and it certainly shows in all aspects of
service on-board and also the quality of food, refreshments and services supplied. If you expect to recline your seat
back into a position where you can't touch the seat in front of you, Jetstar is not for you. Pay the extra and travel
with a true Business Class airline.

It's Starclass, which is more Premium Economy really, seats are wider than economy and do have a little
more recline, but not enough to sleep comfortably on the short but overnight flight between Bali and
Sydney.

The seats used in Star Class are Qantas domestic business class seats - do not expect a full lie-flat
seat! They are comfortable enough for 10 hour flight to HNL. Sleeping ability is average, and access is
somewhat limited. Excellent value for money alternative to full business class seating.

BKK/MEL/BKK Star Class. Overnight 9 hour flight from BKK and although the seat was comfortable impossible
to sleep with the available seat pitch. Great difficulty getting out of the window seat when the seat in
front was reclined. Food offered on both legs very poor quality declined both meals. I know its an
Australian airline but have never been offered a pie and sauce for supper in so called business class.
Check in for both sectors was easy and flights on time. Access to QF lounge in BKK and MEL was a bonus.

As JQ is a discount carrier, one cannot expect more than domestic business class-type service, and JQ
delivers. Wide, comfortable leather seat. Seat reclines well, but not a lot of pitch.

Star Class is more like Premium Economy. Seats are pretty comfortable with seat pitch at 38
inches. There is enough recline and leg rest to be able to sleep but getting in and out of the
seat is a little troublesome, especially when the seat in front is in the recline position.
Row 1 is probably the best, as there is no seat in front of you and it feels like you have
more legroom. There is no in-seat entertainment so a portable video player is provided. This
is fine except it's bulky and there is no place to put it when you're having a meal.

Star Class (OOL to KIX return) seats are comfortable for a 9hr day flight, Recline is
adequate, some problems getting in and out if forward seat is reclined as well. Main issue is
on a night flight the seat does not really make the flight anything more than adequate comfort
and sleeping is not really possible unless you're someone who can sleep anywhere due to it
being a narrow seat with limited recline/leg rest movement. Some cut price airlines give
better seats with low service, but Jetstar's Star Class seems to offer a better service
experience and not an overly special seat.

SYD to HNL return using Jetstar Starclass. The outbound trip was overnight. The seats are
really the equivalent of premium economy in other airlines rather than being a full business
class product. Accordingly, whilst they have greater pitch and recline than economy class,
they do not have the space or features of other airlines business classes. The use of
freestanding AVOD units rather than having them built into the seat backs further restricts
useful space, particularly during mealtimes. The relatively small seat pitch makes access
difficult, particularly when the occupant in front has their seat reclined. However, for a
discount airline of moderate sector lengths the seats are adequate for the price.
