BUSINESS CLASS : Angled lie-flat seats provided on A340/A330 aircraft. Comfort levels are mid ranked
overall, with the sliding down feeling when the seat is fully reclined. Seat pod format provides reasonable privacy.
The seat pitch means that window seat passengers have difficult access in/out of seat when adjacent aisle seat in full recline.
Watch out for new flat-bed seats in 2008 from Qatar Airways. Score : 7/10
FIRST CLASS : The First class flat bed seats offer a good sleep comfort in full recline, with a good standard of sleeping
surface from these seat cushions - and mattress enhancers supplied when staff make up beds. The seat pods have good privacy surround, and
the middle 2 seats enable good contact for couples travelling together. Good east adjustments for sitting/relaxing comfort, and window
seats have excellent storage space. Score : 9/10 |

The seat became a fully flat bed and was very comfortable. In flight catering was second to none.
My wife and I had our dinner in the first class lounge which beats eating at your seat any day, our
beds were meanwhile made up by the attentive staff. Changed into the pyjamas provided and settled
down to the superb AVOD movies and drifted off to sleep in what was a very comfortable bed.

Everything else about the business class trip was okay, but these seats are plain uncomfortable! They are at an angle and
you slide off when fully reclined, and the way it reclines means you cannot adjust backrest separate to legrest - so you
cannot get a nice Z position to sleep in. Hope Qatar improves these, as they are not nice at all, and do not match to the
5 star airline that Qatar Airways boasts of.

The seat was very comfortable and easy to drift off in. On the A330 the arm rest drops down to give a
larger sleeping area and on the A340 the seats have something like 20 buttons to adjust the position,
lumbar support and many other things - the food is also delicious. |

Older Airbus A300 aircraft that have classic-style First class seats, outdated and less comfortable
than the otherwise excellent seats on the newer Qatar Airways aircraft. The seats did not recline to
anything near flat, so sleeping position not particularly comfortable. Airbus A300 aircraft product
simply does not match the general high standard of Qatar Airways, and I hope these aircraft are soon
replaced or upgraded. |

Although not the new "privacy" type flatbeds on offer on the A340 and A330 fleet, the First Class Seating in a 2-2-2
configuration on the A300 fleet (2 rows only) offer what must be the best leg room on any carrier in the "classic" cabin layout.
The seats do convert to fully flat and are comfortable. The experience is rounded-off by Qatar's superlative cabin service, which
excels, no matter which aircraft you fly on. |

Quite simply, superb! Taken 3 flights on their new A340 in First, and seats are trully confortable. All adjustments you need,
staff make up the bed, nice duvet etc. There is a bar/lounge behind the 2 rows of First class cabin where I had drinks with my
companion, and then the staff laid up a table in the bar/lounge so we could eat together - like a real 5 Star restaurant. This is
an airline that deserves the 5 Star ranking they advertise. Well done!! |

As a regular business class traveler in Qatar Airways and a current Doha resident, I continue to be impressed with Qatar Airways'
attention to the smallest details - those little but important things that make a routine flight absolutely wonderful! From the
immediate attention to me as a customer, to the comfort of the seats - especially in the longer flights to Europe, Africa, and
Asia that my wife and I have taken - to the exquisite meals served, this airlines has somehow quickly managed to surpass the
quality and service of any other airline I've flown. |

Good standard of privacy on the window seat, single pods. Easy adjustment for sitting, working, dining, sleeping etc, and the
fully reclined bed position noted to be very comfortable. Certainly one of the best lie-flat first class seats for actual comfort
quality that I have experienced. Service on Qatar is simply great - so much better than Emirates is nowadays, and can agree with
Skytrax 5 Star rating for Qatar Airways. Well done. |

As a regular QR passenger between UK and Asian destinations, I cannot praise them too highly. First Class seats are extremely
comfortable, easily and quickly adjustable to numerous positions. Even the Business Class Cabin has very comfortable seats with
good pitch, though not lie- flat. |

Plane was new. First row window seat every leg, with seat close to me empty. Legroom extremely generous. Seat are very comfy and
large. You can decide your own position through pre-set selection or choosing to set it manually easily. Tray-table is spacious,
such as personal screen are very big. amenity kit outstanding. Service and catering superb. Seat very comfortable for working and
eating. BTW they allows you to sleep very well even if they are not flat -seats. Finally, a truly pleasant experience. |

I recently travelled first class from Doha to London and was very impressed. Qatar are striving to emulate Emirates and they are
doing an excellent job at it. The flat bed was truly flat and I enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing rest. Food excellent, service
impeccable. Well done Qatar, you have got it right. |

I travelled from Doha to Paris. The service was very good. The food was excellent and what impressed me more was the attention to
detail. This airline has really understood what service delivery is. Today a number of airlines can purchase the best in hardware
( seats, aircraft, products etc..) but how it is delivered makes the difference. Having travelled practically every major airline
I would say they are a cut above the rest. My only comment is that I feel that their branding is bland compared to their product.
It doesn't have the same wow factor. |

Doha - London return. The seat was truly comfortable, in the sit-up and the lieing down bed position. Cushions are a little hard,
but the armrests drop down as you make your flat bed, and this gives me a very good, wide sleeping area to turn over.
