Boeing 777  Business Class 

Quite terrible. How is VARIG allowed to get away with these terrible seats when they are supposed to be part of Star Alliance. Food was good, service very patchy, but seats and IFE are terrible - quite the worst business cabin I know.

Boeing 767-300  Business Class 

Rio de Janeiro - Frankfurt. The worst Business Class I've ever seen. The seats are uncomfortable, shabby and you will never get any sleep.

MD-11  First Class 

VARIG "ex-swiss MD-11's" still have the Swiss interior, featuring the flat seats in first class - in my opinion the best of the world, although in VARIG planes they are a little old and dirty. The only problem is when you recline the seat to the sleeping position, a "mountain" is formed between the footrest and the legrest. Varig business class is horrible - 48 inches of seat pitch and almost no recline.
