The business seat could be flatter. Interesting that SAS changed their marketing.
Originally marketed as flat bed, they backed out and referred to the seats as lie-flat, still not
quite the truth, and now simply as sleeper seats. Disappointing that they call this the next
generation when competitors are clearly already generations ahead with proper lie flat products.

Angled seat uncomfortable - slid down as I lay on my side. Was also trapped by window as my legs
are not long enough to get over a reclining neighbor without climbing on him/her. Was quite
surprised at lack of current movie options, 3/4 were at least 10 years old! Would have liked to
visit the "self serve buffet" set up near galley but as noted above I was trapped. Better than
United and I would fly this longer route again to avoid them, though we'll see when United's new
business seats come out.

Pod seat but more comfortable than LH and Air France. Entertainment VOD - a bit quirky. Good
extensive movie collection. Food very good with snacks available throughout the flight.

CPH-NRT (Seat 1B), a nice seat with nobody in front of you. Screen smaller than other seats and it is
included in the whole seating arrangement. The beds are not lie flat beds, but when lying down they
are ok and reasonably large. Everything worked fine and good service. |

CPH-Shanghai and CPH-Beijing both in the new C-class. Compared to the old C class service, menu and
seating is a good improvement. I sleep much better in the new SAS C class seats than in LH C class |

CPH-Narita in C class: Prebooked seat 1G/H. A certain amount of exclusivity with no passengers in front of You. Curving wall creates
less space for the window pax. New seat is not flat and creates a bump in the middle. Slightly better when not fully flat. Video on
demand did not work. Also popped up from its crevasse in the seat at inopportune times, such as 8 times when landing. Not much fun in
terms of food. Good champagne. Service reasonably good. Full cabin. Upgrades - not worth SEK38 000. |

CPH-SEA, Seat 03B. Very positive experience with a most enjoyable crew. New angled lie-flat seats are nice and offer enough space. IFE
had some problems but worked fine after a reset. What I found a bit irritating was the champagne service on ground, plastic cups are
not really what you expect! |

Shanghai - Copenhagen. Found the seat comfortable. IFE worked brilliantly - good crew, champagne and food. Was able to get a few hours
sleep watch a movie and do some work - couldn't ask for more. |

Bangkok to Copenhagen on the new seat configuration (with flat beds). Could not sleep well due to the angle of the seat and the fact
that the passenger next to you breathes (or snores) into your face. The seats do not provide enough privacy when reclined. Also
difficult to jump over a sleeping neighbour - when in the window seat. The food was terrible - with plastic cups for wine/champagne
before and after take off. The entertainment system was good with on demand movies (although quite out of date). |

The new lie-flat seats of SAS are very comfortable and gave me an excellent night's sleep travelling BKK-CPH. One drawback is the lack
of the small additional pockets on the front seat to put your different stuff in; they were available on the old C-class seats and I
really miss them. |

Seat was not too good. It was difficult to get to sleep, because of the restricted angle. I hear SAS may replace these seats soon -
until then I wouldn't recommend SAS if sleep is important to you. |

C-seat is comfortable and adjustable in all sitting positions. The lie- flat configuration is angled and only available at extra cost.
It gives a better sleep than the normal classic C seats, but other airlines offer better sleeping comfort, especially the true lie-flat
ones. |

ORD-CPH-OSL last week and was pleasantly suprised by SAS Business Class. While the seat didn't lie flat, the adjustable leg rests made
up with the right amount of support. The cabin crew was attentive and pleasant, the food far exceeded expectations, and the A340 cabin
well-kept. |

I found the SAS A-340 business class to be exceptionally comfortable, in fact, downright enjoyable. The seat is not flat but angled,
which means sleeping at a slant. Given that, all positions (which are easy to regulate) render a comfortable seat indeed. Cabin
ambience, crew attention, menu, and amenities: all excellent. |
