TAM seem like to be moving backwards or, at least, in the opposite direction of customers requests. The new aircraft business class seats are narrow enough to make a thin person feel squeezed. No privacy. No flat bad, which makes it almost impossible to sleep. If in the middle seat, you have to jump to get to hallway. Meals were more like economy than business. Some people, including myself, changed their first main choices as the plate did not look tasty. Positive side: Midia system is better than the old A330s TAM had on this route.

While the seat has a good size and range of adjustments, the backrest is so ill-designed that I found it unbearable to sit in it without putting the pillow in my back and an additional half-inflated plastic pillow below the shoulders. The problem is that the backrest is hollow where it should support the lumbar region and has a hard buckle between the shoulder blades. Seriously, I can't imagine how a designer could come up with such an obviously unergonomic design.

These are traditional business class seats that are roomy, recline to nearly 180 degrees. An interesting plus is the fact that the tray tables can be moved up and down.

TAM has equipped their long haul flights with some perhaps stylish but extremely uncomfortable Business Class seats. They never get to a full-flat position and you have to fight throughout the night to avoid sliding down, very tiring. Quite a downgrade when compared to that airline's traditional Business Class seats.

The seats are angled and do not provide a comfortable night of sleep. When they renovate the configuration they should take that into account. IFE has improved recently.

Comfort kit includes pajamas. Meals well presented and tasted. Seat was most comfortable. At my request, flight attendant made the seat into a bed, covering it with sheet, duvet and nice pillow while reclining it 180°. Watched movies on a day flight and slept soundly on a night flight.

TAM added the first class cabin on B777 aircraft, changing the business class seats from flat seats to angle seats which are very hard to sleep.

The seat is ok. But the angle when in the lie-flat position is horrible. There is no way that you can get yourself comfortable. I was all the time sliding down. The foot rest in the end of the seat is very unstable also.
