A330 with newly updated business class seats. This new type seat has a wider seat pitch and better design for more comfort. Lots of space for storage, angle lie-flat were surprisingly comfortable. Large TV screen with touch screen AVOD, good choice of films and games etc. Pod style seat meaning more space and no worries about passengers recline into your space. Great leg room as well. A340/600 with the older pod- style business class seat. This one has a tighter seat pitch, same angle lie-flat but was uncomfortable, especially for an 8 hours flight. They have AVOD and noise-cancelling headphone a nice touch.

IFE nothing special, food reasonably good and the seat is fairly comfortable. The downside for me is that seats in F offer absolutely no privacy. And the amenity kit doesn't contain earplugs - none available on request either.

Good size but don't lie fully flat. They ran out of blankets and my IFE screen didn't work. The flight attendants didn't really have a care factor about this - the service and communication was terrible. Food was equivalent to economy on a good airline.

The seats were average, not the best. Despite it being one of the newest TG products, I do not think I can stay in the seat for a long haul flight of more than 10 hours as it is uncomfortable in the lie flat position. Also, when in the lie flat configuration, my legs were touching the front seat.

SYD-ZRH return via BKK. On this aircraft I was seated in 1K (twice), 2K and 2A. Window seats are best because they have extra storage and more privacy. Avoid seat 1K as this is next to the galley and lots of noise when loading/unloading trolleys; making it difficult to sleep . However, Thai serves K seats first, then A. My preference is 2A, it seems less noise. Seats when new were excellent. Now they need more maintenance, are getting very tired looking and all features don't work, such as extending foot rests. They are very good for both sleeping and seating, however. The in seat pull up tables are big, but now very hard to lift up & replace due to age and poor maintenance. Female cabin staff need assistance from male stewards to operate the table configuration.

Bangkok - London First Class. Ground services at BKK airport was superb. On board the 747, the First class cabin was spacious, seat was very comfortable although the armrests got a little in the way while sleeping in full-flat position. FAs were very friendly and were always on hand to assist passengers.

The planes are relatively new, so New Business Class seats are still in good condition. Lie-flat seat that have lots of functions to tweak to get your personal comfortable positions. The seats are pretty narrow for me even though I'm on the small side - but it's quite comfortable. Different story if you have wide girth - it might be a challenge to get the PTV controller from the side! Especially likes the slide-out from the side tray tables, that can also be folded to save some space. Entertainment was very good too, with wide screen and lots of choices.

Usual sleeper seat with reduced privacy. Meal service on daytime flight with seven courses of good quality. Night flights with reduced meal service extend. First class lounge in BKK is without comparison

The plane must have been one of the oldest 777's Thai have, and the Business Class seat is very 80's. The width is better than newer seats, but the pitch is much less and the recline is very limited. Thai need to refurbish all these older planes very soon since this is the worst from my whole trip (used A340-600 and A330-300 on previous legs).

Very good THAI Royal First Class cabin on the A-340-600. It's better than the Royal First on the B- 747-400 which have the same seats but the disposition of the seats make them less privacy. Only the first row are too close to the toilet. The second row is the best choice.

I find the lie-flat sloping seats really uncomfortable to sleep in. I would strongly suggest avoiding airlines that have this arrangement! The cabin interior was looking very worn and tired. Service was good, food okay, entertainment system average.

SYD-BKK-SYD in Royal Silk (Business) with a 2-2-2 configuration. We found the seats comfortable with controls to allow you to set the seat in just about any position you might like - seats lie flat but not horizontal. IFE was great and the cabin service very efficient and polite.

The plane was relatively old and an older version of the Business Class seats. However these seats were still quite comfortable for this short trip.

BKK-LAX horrible seat for sleeping. Slant, uncomfortable padding, no room for your elbows! Good legroom and space for your stuff, but that's about it!

New style flat beds are comfortable. Service good but not outstanding like on SIA. Old style pyjamas and poor amenity kit. Individual pod type seating so private single seat next to window. Arrival and departure into Bangkok truly excellent with electric car service and diplomatic passport control for arriving and departing First Class passengers.

Tokyo to Bangkok. Beware of old aircraft on this route. Seat was fine for daytime travel but I would not want to sleep on it. No power and shocking IFE (no AVOD) with small screen.
