BUSINESS CLASS : an angled lie-flat seat, the cabin is arranged 2x2x2. The seat width is good when for sitting/relaxing position, but somewhat restricted in the full recline. In the full recline, there is the sliding down sensation one gets with angled lie-flats. Seat length in full recline is good, but we found that privacy is not that good compared to some other airline angled lie-flat seats. Score : 7/10

For what is supposed to be good quality businesds class, this is poor! The seats are angled, and you slide down in full recline, and very little space to store things around you. The seat does not offer true privateness from customer in seat next to you. A very poor airline partner for Star Alliance standards, and recommend against this airline for long haul.

Seating on the 340 is 2x2x2. Seats are quite wide but angle of foot rests and seat recline makes it impossible to sleep. Product old style and needs an upgrade to compete with the lie flats.

RATING

Business Class Turkish Airlines IST-BKK on A330 featuring "flatseats" however the seat never turns into a flat bed. In fully reclined position the back of the seat moves down, however stops at an angle and its not in the same angle like the bottom of the seat. The leg rest is like the legrest of a regular seat which does not move up as it should be on a real flat seat, that means you lie on 3 different angles, which is better than an old class business seat but is not as comfortable as a new generation seat should be. The seat bottoms react far too late, you have to press for a very long time until it moves.
