BUSINESS CLASS : Angled lie-flat seats offered by US Airways on long haul aircraft in Envoy Class. Comfort levels are mid ranked
overall, with the slide-down feeling when the seat is fully reclined. Seat layout format does not provide much privacy,
and the seat pitch means that window seat passengers have difficult access in/out of seat when adjacent aisle seat in full recline.
Score : 7/10 |

The seats in row 1 may have more recline but you also have the forward galley and lavatory on your
doorstep with the accompanying noise and distraction. The regular business seats - rows 2 through 6,
though from much earlier generation, are acceptable for the transatlantic flight
as long as the person in front does not fully recline. The service is of course quite another story. |

Recent Envoy class cabin reconfiguration reduced number of seats. Row 1 still has 6 fully horizontal lie-flat sleeper seats, but
they are not sold in advance as their is no First class product. These can only be upgraded from an Envoy seat for an additional
$300USD. Chairmans and Platinum Preferred members of Dividend Miles with confirmed seats in Envoy class can request this anytime
in advance, but all other passengers may only request these seats 30 hours prior to departure. Rows 2-5 have the standard business
class seats with 160 degrees of recline and 60" pitch. All seats have in-seat power and fully on-demand audio/video. |

Seat pitch is fine at 94inches but the 6 available seats on these aircraft still only rate OK on comfort. |

When travelling internationally onboard the US A300 ask for seating in row 1. Here are the first class suites that are no longer
in use as F-Class. Much more comfortable than the seats in Envoy Class. |

US Airways' international First Class seats on the A330 are excellent. With a seat pitch of 94 inches, the 6 first class flat bed
seats are extremely comfortable. |
